What is double layers rubber anti-static table mat? 

As the name suggests, it is made up of two layers, the top and the bottom, and equipped with ground wires. 

Top layer: A color layer with dissipating electrical properties. Common colors are blue, gray, green, etc.

Bottom layer: with conductive electrical characteristics of the layer, the common color is black. 

Ground cable: Connect the anti-static station pad to the power cable for special or public grounding.


How does the double layers rubber anti-static table mat work? 

For the purpose of electrostatic prevention and control, materials can be divided into high resistance (slow band charging movement) and low resistance (fast charging movement) according to their resistance to current movement, while conduction is generally used for low resistance. When a charged object comes into contact with the dissipating top layer of the pad, current is discharged from the surface of the pad in a slow and controlled manner, reducing the risk of electrostatic sparks. The charge will follow the path of least resistance to the bottom conductive layer. The bottom layer has a low resistance and rapidly transmits the charge to the earth through a ground wire.
